About HSRP

The Development of Registration Plates with High Security

With the requirement that automakers (OEMs) equip new cars built from April 1, 2019, onward, with pre-installed High Security Registration Plates (HSRP), the historic date of December 6, 2018, signaled a dramatic change in vehicle safety. Through a strong dealership network, HSRP providers like Shimnit India have skillfully supported this program, which aims to improve vehicle identification and security.

Shimnit recognizes the crucial part played by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in this change. It has been essential that they have taken the initiative to create the complete vehicle database VAHAN and integrate High Security Registration Plates with it.

The State Transport Department still has the power to supervise the conversion of cars manufactured prior to April 1, 2019, to High Security Registration Plates.

The feature of High Security Registration Plates (HSRP)

Shimnit is proud to comply with The Motor Vehicles Act of 1988, ensuring that every car on Indian roads has a license plate that is not only legitimate but also a standard of excellence.
